This class is a 6-week Accelerated class that meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 8:30 am to 5:00 pm,
Orientation day is Thursday, May 21 at 8:30 am - 11:30 am
BLS/CPR class will be Thursday, May 21 at 12:30pm to 4:30pm
First day of class is Monday, May 25 at 8:30 am- 5:00pm
Graduation will be Thursday, July 9

WELCOME TO HEALTHPRO
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This program is designed to quickly provide students with the skills and knowledge to function as a working Emergency Medical Technician and to facilitate the passing of the National Registry Exam. This program is intended for those who want to achieve employment as a firefighter, emergency care technician, ambulance attendant, ER tech and more, and will be beneficial for those who are planning to obtain a higher level of medical training such as LVN/RN, PA, and/or paramedic.
This accelerated course is intensive, and is recommended for individuals who have one or a combination of the following:
- The focus and logistical capability to devote a considerable amount of time to this course
- Considerable personal organization and study skills
- Some background in emergency medical service and/or human physiology

BASIC PREREQUISITES
- Must be at least 17 years of age upon enrollment
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Must possess a current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card (can be purchased with this course)
- BLS will be provided on Orientation day for those students that have added BLS to their registration.
- Must be able to pass a background check

- At orientation, there is no uniform required
- During Orientation, we will be going over the uniform requirements in detail
- You will be required to wear your uniform to every class
