This course is AHA accredited and you will receive the same course completion card after completing your skills as you would from taking a traditional instructor-led class. ACLS Heartcode Part 1 is NOT included in the $75 purchase of a skills session. Must purchase and complete Part 1 on your own or add it as an Add On.
Steps:
1. Go to the elearning@heart.org to register for the Online AHA course
2. Go to Find a Course
3. Select: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
4. Select: HeartCode ACLS (Cost: $151.00)
There are 3 parts to ACLS Online HeartCode:
1. Part 1 at your home or office: Online simulation and written test completion (Generally 2.0 to 4. 0 hours for experienced providers and 4.0 to 8.0 hours for less experienced or new providers)
2. Parts 2 & 3 will be completed in our education center, skills practice and skills testing. We guarantee a relaxed, friendly learning environment.
ACLS Online Class – Heartcode ACLS Online HeartCode is the most high tech, official American Heart Association (AHA) Self-Directed Comprehensive eLearning Program, which consists of: Treating multiple scenarios online by simulating various interventions such as starting IVs, hooking clients up to the monitor, asking clients questions, and giving appropriate medications. Receive instant, objective feedback and evaluation of skills
Students who successfully complete the ACLS Course online (including achieving a score of 84% or higher on the course exam) and the hands-on session will receive a ACLS Provider course completion card (eCard), valid for two years.
