BART (Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Treatment) is a 16 hour Instructor-led Course that combines classroom education with skills practice. This course is recommended for RN's, LVN's, EMT's, Medics and Dental Surgical Technicians.
The workshop includes determination of multiple ECG strips.
THIS COURSE DOES NOT COVER 12 LEAD ECG
This course offers 16 Continuing Education Units for those that qualify (EMS only). RNs do not qualify for CEs for this class per the California BRN, but will receive a Certificate of Completion for 16 hour BART course.
Included in your course we provide a notebook with printed lecture presentation slides, sections for notes, and practice test strips. We reference the textbook Understanding EKGs, A Practical Approach by Brenda Beasley, and maintain a library of the textbook for your use during the course. Books to be borrowed are signed out at the beginning of class and must be returned at the end of class.
